Work Package SummaryWP1 — consists of two sub-packages: WP1a will define the scientific aspects of ecosystem services with particular reference to monsoon variability and associated water cycling, as well as climate-change related disaster and risk management; WP1b will establish the socioeconomic and policy context specific to each country, linking ecosystem services, livelihood vulnerability and poverty alleviation WP2 — will review the state of art on the economic valuation of the ecosystem services identified by WP1 and consider the current condition and future trend of these ecosystem services from an economic and policy perspective WP3 — will ensure inputs, verification, review and dissemination of the SA to a broad stakeholder audience within the region using a variety of engagement methods including: direct dialogue and debate (via national and regional meetings); mailing and electronic media (via the website and email); and national press releases. Knowledge, information and capacity needs assessments will also be carried out WP4 —provides a management and coordination function for the project
